Hollywood actor Jim Meskimen’s interview continues today.  We discuss 3 important topics: The Human Voice, MOCAP and HAIRY FINGERS. Jim deconstructs the human voice from his view as an actor, impressionist and audiobook director and the nuance of isolating key elements to recreate a real person or create a new character.   MOCAP – its effect and challenges. And Spandex. And your joints! Then last but not least – HAIRY FINGERS and FINGER WIGS, which you can only understand if you listen! Actually the title is misleading; It’s really Jim Meskimen imitating George Clooney pretending to know who Rebecca is, and that he likes her hair!

In part 3 with Jim Meskimen, Jim describes moving away from Hollywood, growing up in a showbiz family with his real mom Marion Ross (the iconic Mrs. “C” from tv series Happy Days).  Jim shares what he learned about the non-glamorous, practical, business elements for the workaday actor, discusses specific examples of entrepreneurial efforts he used and then summarizes his ‘rules to live by’.
